Once you’ve installed Droplr Lite, you can view a little icon on the menu bar on the upper part of the screen, which will help you use it during your daily tasks. The best part about this app is that you can create links for each element you need to share so it’ll reduce all the content to a simple link that anyone can download. In other words, if you need to share heavy documents or videos, images or other files and you don’t want to waste time compressing them or looking for a tool that lets you perform the task, Droplr Lite will do it for you without you even realizing it.
In order to use this fantastic tool you just have to click on the document you want to share and drag it to the icon on the upper part of the screen. Once you let go, Droplr Lite will create a link and you don’t have to perform any other action so you can keep working without you having to waste time when you want to share information.

How to Download Droplr
Droplr comes in a desktop app as well as a free Chrome extension. Personally, I use the free desktop app and love having it in my toolbar. It works better than the Chrome extension and never gets in the way or sends me any annoying

There are two main differences between the free version of Droplr and a PRO subscription. First, much like Slack, a paid Droplr account gives you access to complete file history. The free version only allows you to see screenshots and screencasts from a certain number of days.
At the time of writing, I’m able to see content from around 60 days ago. I’ve only had an issue once or twice where I wasn’t able to find a screenshot I really needed from my history. If that’s a concern to you and your team, then I’d consider paying the $36 for an annual PRO subscription.

I haven’t come across any great alternatives to Droplr, but I’ll be sure to update this section if I see anything that compares to the speed and convenience of the file sharing and screenshot-making platform.
