On Tuesday Deezer responded to yesterday's story that the CEO of its Deezer's North American division had exited for another startup. The music streamer officially launched its $9.99 per month online music service in the U.S. last month.

Deezer North America CEO Tyler Goldman has left the company. He had joined Deezer in 2013 and oversaw a slow entry into the North American market, even as competitors were rushing to launch.
Goldman has joined e-cigarette manufacturer PAX Labs as its CEO, it was announced this morning. PAX is the world's best selling portable vaporizer. Goldman previously held positions as CEO of BUZZMEDIA and SVP/co-founder of Movielink.
UPDATE :A spokesperson for PAX Labs wrote Hypebot on Monday 'to clarify that Tyler’s position as CEO of PAX was effective as of June 2016. The Deezer launch happened in July, which means he was not at Deezer for the launch.'
